This course will provide workers with the basic knowledge needed to recognize and avoid hazards associated with working at heights.
This course will cover the following topics:
- Understanding your Rights and Responsibilities regarding working at heights
- Safety and Regulatory Compliance
- Selection, Inspection and Use of Personal Fall-Arrest Equipment
This 1-Day course is designed for workers who use:
- Travel Restraint Systems
- Fall Restricting Systems
- Fall Arrest Systems
- Safety Nets
- Work Belts or Safety Belts
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive:
- Full size certificate
- Wallet certification card
Prerequisites
Please bring the following on the day of your course:
- Government-issued Photo ID
- CSA-Approved Hard Hat
- CSA-Approved Eye Protection
- Safety Boots
Students who do not arrive with the proper identification and PPE will not be allowed to complete the class. Refunds will NOT be issued for arriving unprepared.
